- 「A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM」
- CONCEPT
- The beginning of my collection was my curiosity about the muse, whose sexual appeal was a sort of weapon. I wanted to find out what the public criticism on her means in a social context, why she has to be criticized, and what results her determination to defend her belief would bring. I have found out that there exists contradiction in the public perception about her: she would be criticized as a commercializing woman and at the same time admired by other women as a wannabe. I want to show, through my collection, this complex contradictory psychological state that may give us the sense of shame as if telling lies to ourselves, but the show, at the same time, tells that being true to our mind and emotion is righteous for us.

- コンセプト
- 自分の性的な魅力を武器としている女性をミューズとして捉え、彼女たちに対する批判的な視線や誤解が社会的にとのような意味を持つのか、なぜそのような批判を受けなければいけなかったのか、それにもかかわらず彼女たちが守ってきた信念が生み出した結果は何なのかに対して疑問を持ってのがこのコレクションの始まりであった。女性の性の商品化を誘導するという視線の一方、女性に彼女たちは一度はなってみたい憧れでもあり、矛盾な感情を持たせる存在だった。そのような矛盾な気持ちはどこか自分に嘘をついているような罪悪感を持たせるが、実はその素直な気持ちそのままでも大丈夫で、ありのままで自分を表していこうとこのコレクションを通して話している。
