Within and Without the Stone

石の内と外

「石の内と外」は、「日常こそが叙事詩である」という視点から、時間を直線ではなく「面」として捉え、過去・現在・未来は常に重なり、離れ、流れ、変化するものとして表現している。

デザインでは、内と外が循環する「メビウスの輪」の構造をパターンに取り入れ、素材の編み込みによって、日常の中にひそむ複雑さを可視化した。

時間を多層的かつ循環的なものとして捉え直すことで、私たちは日常や存在そのものを、より自由で広がりのある視点から見つめ直すことができる。

"Within and Without the Stone" explores time not as a linear progression, but as a surface upon which the past, present, and future continually overlap, diverge, flow, and transform.

The design integrates the Möbius strip structure-where inside and outside circulate as one-into the garment's pattern.

By interweaving materials, the textiles visualize the subtle complexity embedded in everyday life.Reframing time as multilayered and cyclical invites us to reflect on the everyday and on existence itself from a freer, more expansive perspective.
